The situation
Most vastu advice fails because it is impossible to follow. Telling someone in a Bangalore apartment to move their kitchen is not guidance, it is a way of ending the conversation.

Do you visit the site?
For homes and offices in and around Bangalore, yes — a site visit is far more reliable than a plan alone. For locations further out, Guruji reviews a dimensioned plan with directions marked, along with photographs.
Will I have to break walls?
Almost never. The great majority of what Guruji prescribes is placement, direction and remedy. Structural change is recommended only when nothing else will do, and he will say so plainly.
Can vastu be checked before buying a flat?
Yes, and that is the best time to do it. Bring the floor plan with directions marked.
Is vastu needed if the kundali is already good?
They address different things. A chart describes you; vastu describes the space you spend your life in. Guruji will tell you if the space is not the real issue.
