Doshas are diagnosed far more often than they are present. The first job is to check whether you actually have one.
The situation
A great many people arrive having been told they carry Kaal Sarp dosha or are suffering Sade Sati, usually by someone who then offered an expensive remedy. Frequently the dosha is not present at all, or is cancelled by other placements in the chart.

Questions people ask
I was told I have Kaal Sarp dosha. Is it serious?
It is often over-diagnosed. Even where the alignment is present, its effect depends heavily on the rest of the chart, and partial formations are frequently presented as full ones. Have it verified before paying for any remedy.
How long does Sade Sati last?
About seven and a half years, in three phases of roughly thirty months as Saturn transits the signs before, on, and after your natal Moon. The phases differ in intensity, and it is not uniformly bad — for some charts it is a period of consolidation.
Are expensive pujas necessary?
Usually not. Most remedies Guruji prescribes are mantra, charity and discipline. Where a puja is genuinely indicated he will explain why and what it involves. Be cautious of anyone who prescribes a costly ritual before reading the chart.
Do I need a gemstone?
Only if the chart calls for it. Gemstones are strong remedies and the wrong one can be counterproductive, so Guruji prescribes them selectively.
